The Oppressor is Most Distant from Allah (s.w.t.)
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Shaykh Abu ‘Abdullah Muhammad ibn Abu al-Qasim al-Qandusi ( q.s. ) wrote, in his at-Ta’sis fi Masawi ad-Dunya wa Nahawi Iblis , “Scholars say that the most distant of people from Allah ( s.w.t. ) is the one who abandons the Prescribed prayers; but I say that the most distant of people from Allah ( s.w.t. ) is the one who wrongs others. The one who abandons the Prescribed prayer is closer to Allah ( s.w.t. ) than those who oppress and transgress against others.”
