Rasul Dahri Still Taught Despite MUIS being Informed
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ “Ustadz” Rasul Dahri was the teacher of Mas Selamat and other Jemaah Islamiyah members. As reported in the Malaysian Berita Harian , dated 27 th December 2015, according to security sources, Mas Selamat Kastari, who was detained in Johor in 2009, not only held extremist views but admitted that he followed Rasul Dahri’s classes. Mas Selamat himself admitted that he attended Rasul Dahri’s classes before getting involved in militancy. Investigation outcomes with other extremist also show that they embraced and were influenced by Rasul Dahri’s views. And yet, when we wrote to MUIS about Rasul Dahri continuing to teach in Singapore, they claimed they had no jurisdiction over him. These are some of his classes, long after Mas Selamat was arrested.
