A Muslim Convert Once Before

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Speaking of the Mauritanian scholar, Shaykh Murabith al-Haj Muhammad Awld Fahfu al-Massumi ( r.a. ), Shaykh Yahya Rhodus said, “In the middle of winter, Shaykh Murabith al-Haj would intentionally take a cold shower and stand in the cold wind during prayer.   This was done to completely remove any familiarity of the nafs and only have their nafs incline towards the Divine Presence.”

‎ ‎ بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Shaykh Yahya Rhodus said, “The Day of Judgement is, in reality, a celebration of Muhammad ( s.a.w. ).   They will all come to know him.”

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Shaykh Yahya Rhodus said, “Seeing a person of humility is better for you than reading twenty books on the theory of humility.”
