The Concept of Diyn
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Imam Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-‘Arusi al-Azhari (r.a.) said, “ Diyn is an orchard of which the fence is the shari’ah , the inner grove is the thariqa’ , and the fruit is the haqiqah . Whoever has no shari’ah , has no diyn ; whoever has no thariqa’ , has no shari’ah ; and whoever has no haqiqah , has no thariqa’ .”
