Understanding Idolatry
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Shaykh Mahmud ibn ‘Abd al-Karim Yahya ash-Shabistari ( q.s. ) wrote: “If the Muslim knew what an idol was, He would know that there is religion in idolatry. If the idol worshipper knew what religion was, He would know where he had gone astray.”
