These false accusations are a common feature of Pakistan, a far cry from what Hadhrat Muhammad Iqbal ( r.a. ) envisioned, and now, one of the most corrupt and morally bankrupt nations in the world. Salman Tasir, the governor of Punjab and a member of another minority, the Qadiyani sect, rightly pointed out that these blasphemy laws were problematic.
