To be Hated or Loved
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ André Paul Guillaume Gide, the French author and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1947, wrote, in “Autumn Leaves”, “It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.”
