The Radiance in the Garden
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ سُوۡرَةُ الاٴعرَاف ۞ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٍ۬ وَٲحِدَةٍ۬ وَجَعَلَ مِنۡہَا زَوۡجَهَا لِيَسۡكُنَ إِلَيۡہَاۖ فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّٮٰهَا حَمَلَتۡ حَمۡلاً خَفِيفً۬ا فَمَرَّتۡ بِهِۦۖ فَلَمَّآ أَثۡقَلَت دَّعَوَا ٱللَّهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَٮِٕنۡ ءَاتَيۡتَنَا صَـٰلِحً۬ا لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ (١٨٩) It is He Who Created you from a single person, and Made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord (saying), “If You Give us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful.” (Surah al-A’araf:189) As recorded in al Bahr al-Madid , Imam Ahmad ibn ‘Alibi ( q.s. ) commenting on this verse of the Qur’an stated that Adam ( a.s. ), after his Creation, found nothing in the Garden except the Brilliance of Allah’s ( s.w.t. ) Tajalli , Illumination, ...
