The Repositories of Characteristics

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Abu al-Qasim ‘Abd al-Karim ibn Huzan al-Qushayri (q.s.) put it, for example, “The heart and the spirit are the repositories of praiseworthy characteristics, whereas the soul is the repository of blameworthy ones.”
