Drowned in Tears of Blood

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 

Shaykh Farid ad-Din ‘Aththar Abu Hamid ibn Abu Bakr Ibrahim (q.s.) wrote: 

“O Lord of the Worlds,

I have foundered,

Drowned in tears of blood,

My ship driven ashore.”
