The Naqshbandi Bay’ah

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

The bay’ah, in the Naqshbandi thariqa’, is given to the Prophet (s.a.w.) through Sayyidina Abu Bakr ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Utsman asw-Swiddiq (r.a.).  For all other thuruq, the bay’ah is through Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abu Thalib (k.w.).  After the Prophet (s.a.w.), all the swahabah, including Sayyidina ‘Ali (k.w.), gave bay’ah to Sayyidina Abu Bakr (r.a.) as the first of the Khulafah ar-Rashidin.
