The Excellence of Knowledge

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Abu ‘Abdullah Sufyan ibn Sa’id ats-Tsawri (r.a.) said, “The excellence of knowledge is due only to the fact that it causes a person to recognise and obey Allah (s.w.t.); otherwise, it is just like anything else.”
