When Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Visited Sayyid Hassan Shah al-Qadri al-Batalwi (q.s.)

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Once, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiyani paid a visit to Sayyid Hassan Shah al-Qadri al-Batalwi (q.s.).  He advised in these words: “Be steadfast to the faith of the Ahl as-Sunnah and do not be a slave to Satan and your desires.”

After Mirza Ghulam left, one of the disciples of Sayyid Hassan Shah (q.s.) asked him, “You have given some very strange advise to this fellow.  What is the reason?”

He replied, “In time, this man’s mind will turn, and he will claim prophethood.  Even now, Satan is leading him.”

Thirty-six years after the foretelling, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiyani falsely claimed prophethood.
