The Delusion of Immortality

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Shaykh Muhyi ad-Din Abu Muhammad ibn Abu Swalih ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani (q.s.) said, “A man’s position in life is such that though he is mortal, he is reborn with pleasure in the winds of afflictions.  It is that very same life whose consequence is not death.  It is that very same comfort which has no extreme anguish.”
