Quora Answer: If Allah (s.w.t.) is the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful, is Allah (s.w.t.) a Feminine God?

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

The following is my answer to a Quora question: “If Allah (s.w.t.) is the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful; is Allah a Feminine God?

The assumption here is that the attributes of compassion and mercy is associated with women, and is more apparent in that gender.  That is simply sexist nonsense.  Theologically, an Absolute God is unlike Creation, which is relative. And part of that Absoluteness is to not have any gender, since to be male is to not be female and vice versa. God is neither male, female or in between.
