Worship after Death

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

As recorded in Imam Abu al-Qasim ‘Abd al-Karim ibn Huzan al-Qushayri’s (r.a.) Risalah al-Qushayriyyah, on Shaykh Abu Muhammad Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Jurayri (q.s.), that Shaykh Abu ‘Abdallah Muhammad ibn al-Khafif ash-Shirazi (q.s.) said that he heard from Shaykh Abu ‘Ali Ahmad ibn ‘Atha’ ar-Rudbari (r.a.), “al-Jurayri died in the year of al-Habir.  One year later, I passed by that place, and saw him sitting there leaning, his knee to his breast, and finger pointing to God.”
