Those Who Love Each Other for the Sake of Allah (s.w.t.)

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Abu Hamid Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Ghazali (r.a.) wrote, in his ‘Ihya ‘Ulum ad-Din, “Mujahid said, ‘Those who love each other for Allah’s (s.w.t.) Sake, when they smile at each other, their sins fall from each other, just as the leaves fall from a tree before the winter.’”

Imam Mujahid ibn Jabr (r.a.) was a tabi’un scholar, who learned from many of the swahabah.
