Calling Death & Misery

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

A man was carrying a heavy load.  Tired, he despairingly called out, “Death, please come here and take me!”

Upon hearing this, the Angle of Death appeared and asked, “Did you call me?”

Bewildered, the man said, “Uh, yes; can you help me load this merchandise back on my shoulders.”

A sage heard of this and said, “Even if a person is lamenting of his misfortunes, he usually prefers life’s miseries to death.”
