Muhasabah & the Heart

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Muhasabah, contemplating, Allah’s (s.w.t.) Existence, and His Creation, is the shortcut to the entrance of the Divine Palace.  It is through this contemplation that a servant gets to know his Lord.

Whilst the heart is the Ka’bah of the soul, where this knowledge resides, it must be purified with, “Laa Ilaha illa Allah”.  Those who want to know Allah (s.w.t.) must enter through this door until Allah (s.w.t.) Reveals Himself to them through that Ray of His Light, that Glance from the Divine, that cannot be perceived by the limited sight of our eyes.  Only a purified heart can capture this knowledge and comprehend it.  And that is true gnosis.
