"Idiot", "Imbecile" & "Moron"

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

The oft-used insults “idiot”, “imbecile” and “moron” were once actually medical definitions of IQ ranges.  An “idiot” is any person who has an IQ of less than 20.  An “imbecile” has an IQ from 20 to 50.  And a “moron” has an IQ above 50 but less than 70.  Anything above that but below the average is merely stupid.

Of course, this is the Internet, and every now and then, we meet someone who defies medical science, and exhibits a level of stupidity that exceeds any form of comprehension.  When we encounter such a specimen, we must never argue with them.  They will drag us down to their level of incomprehension and beat us with experience.  Instead, we should endeavour to stay a safe distance.  And, perhaps, get popcorn.
