Encounters during the Mi'raj: Meeting Dajjal

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

During the night of the Mi’raj, the Prophet (s.a.w.), accompanied by Jibril (a.s.), travelled to a place where the Prophet (s.a.w.) saw the Dajjal in his actual likeness.  He saw him with his own eyes, not in a dream.  It was asked of him, “O Messenger of Allah, how was he when you saw him?”

He replied, “Mammoth-sized, extremely pale and white; one of his eyes is protuberant as if it were a twinkling star.  His hair is like the branches of a tree.  He resembles ‘Abd al-‘Uzza ibn Qatan.”  ‘Abd al-‘Uzza ibn Qatan died in Jahiliyyah.
