Atheists & Religious Literalists

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

How do we differentiate between an atheist and a religious literalist?  The atheist is like a blind man exclaiming, “Since I cannot see it, it is not there,” whereas the literalist is like a blind man claiming, “I can see it,” when he is obviously blind.  So, the first denied what he does not know, and the second affirms what he does not know.  Both are dangerous in their own way.
