Two Kinds of Knowledge

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abu Thalib (k.w.) said, “Knowledge is of two kinds: that which is absorbed, and that which is heard.  And that which is heard does not profit if it is not absorbed.”
