The Ma’arij of the Prophet (s.a.w.)

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

According to Shaykh Muhammad Nazhim Adil al-Haqqani (q.s.), the night ascensions of the Prophet (s.a.w.) to his Lord numbered twenty-three thousand - one in every night of his blessed life.  Some of the evidence for this is in the hadits, whereby he said, “My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.”  And, “I have a time with my Lord which no angel Brought Near nor Messenger shares with me.”
