Wishing “Chinese New Year” is Now Haram?

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Every year, at every festival, or event, whether secular or otherwise, we have to be aware that there are idiots out there who create drama out of everything, and make wishing others haram.  Fortunately, things have quietened down.  Coming out strongly against this scourge of exceptionalism and Wahhabist thinking works.  There are still groups like this in Singapore, and they should not be tolerated.
