In Saudi Arabia, Mawlid is Bid’ah, the King’s Birthday is Fine

The Wahhabi sect in
Saudi Arabia are quick to forbid the celebration of the Milad, the celebration of any birthday, and even forbids
non-Muslims in the Kingdom from doing so.
But celebrating the birth of their nation is fine, and the king’s
birthday is celebrated to an ostentatious degree. This is an example of the hypocrisy of the
Wahhabi sect.
In milad-e-nabi we only express our gratitude to aaqa who sacrificed all his life for islam and umma, and this feelings we reveal happily from our bottom of heart.
ReplyDeletethey are hypocrits and have caused all the rifts amongst the muslims
ReplyDeleteif in Indonesia it is still very easy to find the meeting of the prophet of the Prophet
ReplyDeleteWoah, very interesting... Now, that is just plain old pure hypocrisy! Just told my dad about it and he's having a laugh too because what they are doing is just so ridiculous. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteA bid'ah is something which is practiced with the belief that it is part of islam and that one will receive reward on it. Since celebrating the Prophet SAW birthday is unprecedented ( none of the Sahabah R.A and taabioon ever celebrated it) and has gained such a status amongst people that they believe it a sin if left out , it is impermissible.
ReplyDeleteThe situation with celebrating the King's or nation's birthday is not the same.(not considered part of islam , obligatory or rewarding )This does not mean that is permissible, rather the cause leading to the same ruling for both is different.
That is a Wahhabi definition of bid'ah, and we do not take anything from the kafirun. Celebrating the Prophet (s.a.w.) is an ijma' that is almost unanimously agreed by all the scholars of Islam from the time of the Salaf. To claim otherwise is dishonest.
DeleteWell done Terence, you “destroyed ” him 😂
