“Adab” is an Abused Word

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Adab” is the most over-used word amongst those who claim to follow Sufi groups.  It is used to shut down conversations, stifle differing views, and enforce compliance with the “shaykh” or existing hierarchy.  Essentially, if anyone does not think like them, they have no “adab”.
