A Little Girl from Lebanon

.بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

This story was narrated by Shaykh Abu al-Huda Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Ya’qubi.  In brief, in the 1950’s, in Lebanon, they were celebrating the Mawlid by firing of guns in the air, which should not be done.  A young girl was accidentally shot.  She was critical condition in hospital, and the doctors called the mother saying, “Say your farewells.  She has only hours to live now.”  The girl and her family were Christian.

In anger, the mother said, “O Muhammad, they said you are prophet.  People were celebrating your birth, and they caused this injury to my daughter.  Do you allow this?  If you are truly a prophet, show me a miracle.  Come save my daughter!”

She went to see her daughter in hospital.  She found her daughter was sitting on the bed.  As she walked in, her daughter said, ‘Do not come in.  Do not interrupt!  Muhammad is leaving.  Do not let Him leave!”

Her mother asked what was happening.  The daughter said Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) came in, and wiped over her.  “As you can see, nothing wrong with me,” she said in tears.  Her family embraced Islam.

The Prophet’s (s.a.w.) miracles are still happening to this day.  Every miracle is because of Rasulullah (s.a.w.).
