In Absolute Love

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Shaykh Muswlih ad-Din Abu Muhammad Sa’adi ibn ‘Abdullah ash-Shirazi (q.s.) wrote:

In Love there are no days or nights, for lovers it is all the same.

The musicians have gone, yet the Sufis listen;

In Love there is a beginning but no end.

Each has a name for his Beloved, but for me, my Beloved is nameless.

Sa’adi, if you destroy an idol,

Then destroy the idol of the Self.

If love is the reflection of what we love, there is no duality.  Eventually the reflection becomes real and there is nothing of the Self.  Because we are still in the Realm of the Created and in the Realm of the Created, everything is Relative.  In the Realm of the Creator, He is Absolute.
