Quora Answer: What Would You Do if You Found Out God was Real but from a Different Religion?

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

The following is my answer to a Quora question: “What would you do if you found out God was real but was not the God you worship, but from a different religion?

The assumption here is that God has a religion, or partisan to a religion.  Assuming we agree that such a God is Absolute, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent; why would such a Divine mind the petty labels we attach to our relative conception of the Absolute?  It is people who put necessary labels on belief to differentiate between orthodoxies and heresies, to organise faith into churches and temples and mosques in order to gather influence and convince others that they alone have the correct understanding of the Incomprehensible Divine.  Limited people worship a limited god.  An Absolute Divine is not involved in this.
