We Have to Understand How to be Friends

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Mawlana Jalal ad-Din Muhammad ar-Rumi (q.s.) said, “We have to understand how to be friends.  We wish to know Allah (s.w.t.), but we do not know ourselves.  We must begin to see in a way that we can learn about ourselves.  Learn about the Blessing that Allah (s.w.t.) has Given us.  Because we are, each of us, a Blessing. Allah has Placed a part of His Beauty in each of us.  And what He has not Given to one, He has Given to another.”
