The Universality of a Broken Heart

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

There is nothing more universal than a broken heart, a stolen tear, the hidden smile for they are all states of yearning.  And what can be yearned for more than that which surrounds and encompasses?  For in the Presence is absence.  And everything is this world is an aspect of it.  Yet in our searching, most do not know what we are looking for.  And even if we do, we may not know how to find it.  And that is why that road begins with “Laa ilaha illa Allah”.
