Correct Governance

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Abu Hamid Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Ghazali (r.a.) said, “Now, just as the pleasure of governance and of noble deeds is dominant over him who has passed beyond the defects of boyhood, as of idiocy; so too, the pleasure of the knowledge of God, and awareness of the beauty of the Presence of Lordliness, and of gazing upon mysteries of Divine Ordainments is a pleasure more intense than governance, itself the highest of pleasures prevailing over creatures.  The utmost expression of it that may be uttered is that ‘souls do not know what delights have been Concealed for them.’  Indeed, ‘He has Laid Up for them that which no eye has seen, and no ear heard, and which has not penetrated any human heart.’”
