Take What is Written for Us

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Shaykh Muhammad Nazhim Adil al-Haqqani (q.s.) said, “Take that which has been Written for you.  Do not run after everything else, wanting it for yourself.  Before Allah (s.w.t.) Created us, He Created our provision.  This was 60,000 years ago.  Everything was Prepared before He Sent us here.  No one can get that which is Written for someone else.  Even if you are sitting around a pot of rice, only that which has been written for you, on the Day of Division, will come to you.  Not even one grain of that rice can be taken away from you.

Be happy with that which has been Granted to you in your life.  Be happy with that which Allah (s.w.t.) has Given to you.  Then you will be Blessed.  If you are ungrateful, you will not be Blessed.  Do not look at others; what they eat, or what they waste.  Be happy with your own dry bread.”
