Reaching Allah (s.w.t.)

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abu Thalib (k.w.) said, “Whomsoever believes that without effort he will reach Allah (s.w.t.), is a man of false hope.  And whomsoever believes he will reach Allah (s.w.t.) by his own efforts, is wasting his time.”
