Being Veiled from God

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Shaykh Taj ad-Din Abu al-Fadhl Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Atha’illah as-Sakandari (q.s.) said, “You are not veiled from God by the existence of something that exists with Him since there is nothing that exists with Him.  You are veiled from Him by the illusion that something exists with Him.”
