The Prophet (s.a.w.) & the Ka’bah

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Abu Hamid Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Ghazali (r.a.) wrote, in his “Inner Dimensions of Worship”, “When the Prophet (s.a.w.) came back to Makkah, he approached the Ka’bah and said, ‘You are the best spot on Allah’s (s.w.t.) Earth; most dear to me of all the cities of God (s.w.t.).  If I had not had to leave you, I would have never left you.’”
