Criticising Islam & Muslims is Not Blasphemy

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Criticising Islam and Muslims is not blasphemy. Within the religion, the Qur’an is considered sacred, the Prophet (s.a.w.) is considered sacred.  Everything else, every idea, every doctrine, every dogma, every person may be questioned and criticised.  That is how all the schools of the religious sciences arose.  We do not sacralise anything else.

Now, in this age of ignorance, student acclaim their teachers to the extent that they may not be criticised, people elevate their heroes to the extent that one may not raise contentions, Muslims sacralise ahadits to the extent that doubt is considered kufr.  This is the foundation of our ignorance.
