What Makes Us Muslims

Shaykh Abu al-Huda Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Ya’qubi, said, “‘Laa ilaha illa Allah’ does not make us Muslim; ‘Muhammadar Rasulullah’ does.”
This is a record of my journey as a Muslim. I used to be Catholic and belonged to a missionary organisation. After my conversion, I sat on the board of a Muslim converts' organisation and specialised in da'wah programmes, convert management, interfaith issues and apostasy cases. I am an initiate of a Sufi order. As such, the articles and writings tend to cover these areas.

True - Never thought of that - now I realize - Jews do believe Allah / God as one and only true God, and so do the earlier Christians. Zoroastrians also believe I think in One God which is good and not good at the same time - Ahura Mazda and Ahriman.
