What People Really Mean When They Say, "Follow the Qur'an & the Sunnah"

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

When many Muslims say we should follow the Qur’an and the sunnah, what they often mean is to follow their interpretation of the Qur’an and the sunnah.  This difference in intent is the divide between piety, and misguidance.
