Sincerity in Works

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Shaykh Muhyi ad-Din Abu Muhammad ibn Abu Swalih ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani (q.s.) said, “O people, work and be sincere!  Do not be conceited and do not claim to be doing a favour to Allah (s.w.t.) for deeds that He Himself has Enabled you to do.  The vain person is ignorant.  The person who claims to have done Allah a favour is ignorant.”
