Mawlana Jalal ad-Din ar-Rumi (q.s.) on the Music of the Soul

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Mawlana Jalal ad-Din ar-Rumi (q.s.) said:

“In the lover’s heart is a lute,
Which plays the melody of longing.
You say he looks crazy.
That is only because your ears are not tuned,
To the music by which he dances.”
