Dabiq: Justifying Attacks against Non-Combatants

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ISIS has a magazine, Dabiq.  Here is a sample of what they say in their glossy covers.  They claim responsibility for all manner of attacks, regardless of whether the perpetrators were actually affiliated with them, and justify further violence against both civilian and military targets, in the name of “defending” Islam.

In shari’ah, attacks against civilians is haram, declaring war against non-Muslims solely on the basis of their religion is haram, and glorifying violence is haram.  Only a fool would subscribe to this ideology and defend it.  Only the deluded cannot see the irony of encouraging violence in the name of a religion that means “peace”.
