The Thariqa’ of a Ghawts

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

As translated by Ustadz Mukhtar Holland, it is recorded, in Qala’id al-Jawahir, that Shaykh Baqa’ ibn Batu (q.s.) said that the thariqa’ of Shaykh Muhyi ad-Din Abu Muhammad ibn Abu Swalih ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani (q.s.) consists of “the unifications of word and deed, the unification of the nafs and the moment, the embracing of sincere devotion and submissive resignation, harmonious compliance with the Book and the sunnah in every thought, every glance, every state, as well as steadfast constancy in relation to Allah (s.w.t.).”
