The Hypocrisy of Condemning the Shi’ah but Making Excuses for Groups Like ISIS

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Every Muharram, we have posts by certain people about how the Shi’ah are deviant.  And there will videos of some extreme action by a fringe group amongst the Shi’ah.  Most of these people are not even aware that the Shi’ah are a group of sects, not a single sect, and they differ even amongst themselves, with some being very close to the Sunnis, and some being clearly ghuluw, deviant.

The issue here is that when these people are asked, what are the specific theological points that put Shi’ah beyond the pale of Islam, we find that not only are they ignorant of Shi’ah beliefs, but they also know nothing of Sunni beliefs.  If they do not even know their religion, how are they qualified to decide on others?  And yet, these are the same idiots who will say that we should not engage in takfir when it is pointed out that supposedly Sunni groups such as ISIS are not Muslims, despite clear fatawa, clear evidence from the Qur’an and ahadits, clear actions that put one out of Islam.  They will say, we cannot judge them because we do not know their hearts.  That is outrageous hypocrisy.  This is what a munafiq would say.
