Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abu Thalib (k.w.) Predicted the Rise of the Wahhabis & Groups Like ISIS

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Abu ‘Abdullah Nu’aym ibn Hammad’s (r.a.) Kitab al-Fitan records that Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abu Thalib (k.w.) said, “If you see black flags, then stand your ground, do not move your hands or feet.  There will emerge a weak, inconsequential people. Their hearts are hardened like iron.  They are friends of tyrants.  They do not fulfill their promises.  They call to the truth, but they are not of it.  Their names are nicknames.  Their standards are provincial.  Their emotions are fragile.  They will bicker amongst themselves, and then God will Grant the truth of them to whom he wills.”
