بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imam Shams ad-Din Abu ‘Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ahmad adz-Dzahabi (r.a.) wrote, in Siyar A’alam an-Nubala’, “Fudhayl ibn ‘Iyadh said, ‘Whosoever feels depressed because of loneliness, and yet feels tranquil when they are around people, then surely that one is not safe from pretending to be virtuous.’”
